I work with a Lanier 219.  The buttons are kinda touchy.  The off/on button does not always work like it should.  Sometimes, it takes 2-3 tries before it decides to come on.Just be patient and keep trying.  That's my suggestion.  Hope you get it to work!

Too quick on the buttons there.

Don't sign it.  It sounds as if they have a pending lawsuit and are trying to make sure no one else joins in.  If they call you about it, tell them you sent it over to your attorney to evaluate it.  LOL  It's NOT standard procedure.  You don't have to sign it.

The one I got had nothing to do with age discrimination, but it was a similar type of Hold Harmless document.

Seriously. Advice to push his buttons was way out
of line - very dangerous - you meant well, and it may have worked for you, but that was way out of line. You have no idea of the gravity of this woman's situation, what edge this guy is at, and easily she could be killed - be logical, not emotional.
Did the buttons not work like mine? Nm

I seem to remember pushing one of the buttons at the bottom twice
so that the red light is blinking and then the headphones work.  I remember having to program the phone but I don't remember if it was for the headphones or not.  Sorry, hope you figure it out
"Wish Me a Merry Christmas" buttons are selling ...sm
like hot cakes around the Atlanta area.   One of the Christian radio stations is also making them and giving them out for free as fast as they can manufacture them.  I love it!
