just my thoughts, i have been transcribing for almost 20 years, 7 at home. i took the test years ago when my doctor's office paid the fee, was told i missed my 2 points. never retook and never had any problem getting a job without it and with good pay. personally, i think it is a ripoff. lol...you asked.
