Either make an employee pay to commute or pay to work from home, but don't stick it to 'em from both ends. JMHO.
I said if company wants you to commute
as in long distance. My uncle works in a town 2.0 hrs away from home. They pay for a furnished apartment for him and may mileage to and from home on weekends. I know someone who has to use a car for the business on a route. The company has given them a commuter car and gas credit card in company's name. I have a friend who used to do insurance coding and billing. The insurance company paid for her equipment to work from home. When I worked in a law firm, there was a legal assistant, who lived a good distance away. They wanted to keep her, so they gave her a mileage allowance.

What is so funny about being paid to go back and forth to work? I worked for a company that paid for my gas mileage AND my car repairs. I drove a VW Rabbit that needed little to no repairs, but still....they paid my mileage and my gas. Leave off with the nastiness. She has a legitimate right to post what she wants as does everybody here.

as I stated below under Specifics post, maybe it is her production, and she needs to ask what the decision to bring them back into the office is. She can ask the office MTs what their production is, to compare, for example, to see if that is part of the problem.
