Definitely, my sister (older) went to college and then to university and then moved out of province to another university and then moved out of that province to yet another university.....you get the picture! She never achieved her goal (completely her choice BTW) of getting a Masters in Psychology, after I don't know how many years and how much of my parents' money!!! Then, lazy me, I attended a local college, completed an 8-month program and have been working steadily ever since -- going on 17 years now! I live in a smallish city (120,000) and there has never been a shortage of work for me right here in my home town! Now that I'm an IC, it's even easier to get work.....I love this job! Where else can you work in your PJ's, with coffee in hand, learn something new almost every day, or at least give your brain a workout (even if you think you aren't 'cause sometimes, I know, it's automatic pilot), and get paid without even leaving the house??? I can't think of anything better....winning the lottery would be nice though huh?
