hold down the telephone button and rewind for 3 seconds. You'll have to depress the telephone button just before pressing the rewind.

Erasing
Make sure that the erasing features work. I have all of my machines fixed so that you cannot erase on them so neither I or any of my workers can accidently erase a tape. Someone could have done that.
