footrest

Hi, I thought I was the only one with foot swelling.  I have heard even that it was a peripheral artery thing that was leading to stroke/heart attack, but knew inside that it was just sitting all day and typing.  (the blood pooling type thing) but my feet really swell and it hurts, somewhat.  I have never tried a foot rest, because of the foot pedal thing, but have wondered about it.  does it help?? can one use the foot rest with the foot pedal?  I think it would help alot, as I spend at least 10 hours a day in front of my 'puter.  any advice would help.

thanks,

ks.

Footrest
I do. It helps the swelling a little but it really helps the back. My doctor suggested support hose, but I found them too uncomfortable. Maybe I should look for knee highs!
Anybody know where to buy a footrest
for the foot pedal?   My legs are too short to easily reach the foot pedal and at the end of the day my feet are swollen and my ankles are hurting.  HELP.  Thanks.
