I HAVE been there, and the cost of living is much, much cheaper than here. Also, you don't have to go there physically to tell. Go look at the currency exchange rates online. Four cpl there isn't bad at all.

Furthermore, there is a huge (and getting bigger) gap between rich and poor which is one of the worst in the world right here at home.
