I have ZERO knowledge about VR.  However, if someone who is brand spanking new to the field, VR could still take a ton of time.  You would still need to stop to look things up, be sure the correct term is used, etc.  DRs slur words and make mistakes and someone doing VR has to be able to catch those mistakes, same as you would when doing straight transcription.  Also, if there is a 13 minute dictaiton, it would still take you at least 13 minutes to listen to it and edit it.  Just my opinion.
