I have noticed a few ESLs commenting in the history that the patient seems to be hard of hearing. I wonder if the patient is truly hearing impaired or if they just had trouble understanding the doc (these were some BAD ones) and had to ask them to repeat what they said, would say "huh", that sort of thing. Very unfair if that is the case.

I wish HIPAA would do something about the ESLs, but doubt they will :-(
