Yeah, I think its funny that people think we just sit and type. My sister was out of a job for a little while and made the comment that I could teach her transcription if I wanted to. I made the suggestion that she at least take a terminology class and I gave her my anatomy book and marked the sections she definetly needed to study.................needless to say she did not. I have a lot people where I grew up tell me that they would like to do transcription just earn some extra money; they too think because I work at home and, "just sit and type" that its something they can do without training..................when I tell them what they need, they say, "oh I don't want to do study, I just want to type." Well it does not work like that, sorry.
