low pay

I am an owner of a small hospital, have done them for years, but I get paid 1 cent per line more than I did when I started with them 14 years ago, I have had exactly one pay increase, I am probably making what I did 20 years ago for a service, however, I have gotten so used to these guys and the format is so easy I have stayed with them. They also do not go out for contract, they resign me every year, I am basically just like one of their employees and they have been very very loyal to me, so I guess I can't complain about the pay, but it is a shame to get paid so little for the job we do, however I have tested and actually hired quite a few "transcriptionists" at least that's what they tell me until they go to work for me and they are not even worth 8 cpl never mind 9 which is what I pay, so it's works on both sides. Finding a good Transcriptionist who knows what they are doing is very very hard.
