I do have a wonderful job. They advertise very, very rarely. No VSR/AST. Our base is 8 cpl but there is a very achievable incentive. By the way, you can make very decent money with 8 cpl if you know your stuff, build an efficient Expander library and work smart. I don't put the company name out here because frankly I don't want someone taking work away from me. We are ICs but have no schedule. It is up to us when to work and/or not work as long as we have xx number of lines in each pay period, and we are the ones who determine how many lines we will commit to. Pay is always on time; the owners are very nice to work for and the dictators I have had are for the most part quite good. I agree with mtmt, there are good jobs out there! PLUS you have to make yourself valuable to them. Are your skills top notch? Do you take the time to proofread? Do you take the time to look up new term/meds/equipment, etc., etc., or are you one of those who wants it all but doesn't give anything in return? I see so many people on here saying they don't have time to proofread or they "cherry pick" because they don't give us rip and things like that. Do you have a good attitude about it or would you rather just complain and pity poor little you? There are some horrible companies out there but there are some good ones too. Spend your energy looking for the good one that works for you instead of dwelling on the negatives.
