A - As an "Oldie" our so-called "profession" is still not a "recognized" profession albeit being debated since the 1960s & has suffered as such. I used to love this field & encourage & mentor - I no longer do- nor will. Medical transcription as a whole has become a slave shop - period end.

As far as those chosing D - Go for it-but feel sorry for them-What? Why tell them to go for it? Well- if this isn't contradictory I don't know what is. How about some honesty here as to why you would feel "sorry" for them & yet still encourage them to go into this field! I'm missing something here!!

And then there's choice E - I highly encourage them - Things will be well for them & different but good. Ah yes -things will definitely be different -- but good ? I have my doubts! My guess is deciphering & correcting voice recognition or "trying" to type the worst of the worst not picked up by VR will be the norm. Would I encourage anyone to get into a field I once loved - not on your life!!
