Hello!  Since I have been reading the posts on this website, I have never seen a question about workflow coordinator.  Here's my experience.  I am a 42-year "veteran" MT at age 60 so to say I've been around the block, honey I've burned that bicycle many times around!

When MTSOs came into the picture, I was hired by the #1 transcription service at that time, first as an MT and then promoted within 6 months to supervisor/QA.  Not only did I do workflow management but also maintained hourly checks of our four servers to make sure reports were being processed correctly, reconciliation of reports (sometimes 31 pages worth) to ensure that every report had, indeed, been processed correctly, answered multiple telephone calls, etc. in the course of each 8-hour shift and rotated on our "on call" list.  I worked a typical 40-hour work week, except when on-call and then sometimes 60+ hours.  I had a staff of 6-8 MTs on my shift.  Not only did I keep all report types in their respective TAT as specified in our contract, but I even had a little time to transcribe which kept me fresh for the QA part of the job.  I'm not suggesting that I never had a typo in any report but always spellchecked each and every document, even memos to staff, but spellcheck doesn't always highlight every error as you may know.

If it were me walking in your shoes, I would be reporting this person to her supervisor as a FYI/"concerned person".  Workflow is not always easy, especially if there are staffing issues, but believe me if a person has the "mindset" and loves it as I have, it's a very rewarding experience.

I hope you have and will continue to find being an MT as rewarding as I have.
