Most MTs take a course either by mail, online or in community college, etc. There are some companies that hire new MTs but I'm not sure of the names at this moment but MTjobs.com sometimes have one advertising for MTs that need no experience. In my experience, the best way to get employed as a new MT is to try a local transcription service in your community once you get schooling and try to get hired, that way there is someone there to help you if you have questions.
