Let me clarify. I was told going in that I WOULD get paid an hourly training rate for the "learning curve". I hardly think 1.5 hours qualifies!! I did not go into this blind, or so I thought. I know what I was told and now they are going back on their word. I work for Transcend who are or have been, a great company, or so I was told. Very disappointed and no, I just can't believe this is the norm. I've been doing this for too many years and have never come across this before. Makes me actually long for the old days when most of us worked in-house.
