She said 30-40K to start. Perhaps, but I'm not sure that's possible starting out unless you have REALLY good dictators, REALLY good pay, and easy terminology while you learn. She did make medical coding sound like a no-brainer (which it is not), but actually the hospitals I have been at pay a LOT more for coders than transcriptionists.
