I like CSI Miami better than any
He always gets his guy and so cool about doing it!  He definitely has a way about him!
Miami's job ads since 1980 have said

and most of us have no problems whatsoever -

AND if they won't assimilate, which many will not - I see that but it still doesn't bother me...all that much - WOULD IT KILL ANY ONE OF YOU TO LEARN A FEW WORDS IN ANOTHER TONGUE??!??  Language can be soooo fun.....You're all MTs, how do you NOT enjoy language AND if you DO enjoy language - how do you NOT enjoy MANY languages - learning about them, origins of words, MOST WORDS come from the Greek, Latin, French, German......

USA English is a made-up language that came from proper (King's) English and is why it is soooo difficult for most foreigners to LEARN it...yes, our grandparents did learn it, some of our parents even.....but by no means is it PROPER ENGLISH in my mind....

    Just ask George Carlin *lol*

and this is just my own opinion so no flames please....not looking to start a war here....

    Miami Children's Hospital dictator

I remember when my child was 8 years old (now 25) she had to see  a pediatric GI MD at Miami Children's Hospital.  When he was done with her, he picked up a phone and dictated a huge report and I was standing there next to him (and I was an MT back then too) and he dictated so fast, I understood nothing of what he said.  I then asked him how do the MTs that do his work comprehend exactly what he just said and he said that they use a format for him.  I'm telling you, not one word was comprehensible.  He's a terrific MD but THE WORST dictator I've ever heard.

just thought I'd share that *lol*

Ah, Horacio on CSI Miami, whatever his real name is. Just something about that harda** attitude!
Guess I am giving away my age!
I love Dog -- Thought I would hate it, but really like it, same goes for that new show Miami Ink, -

Probably just like accounts in Miami Florida. Wouldn't you think? Cuban, Mexican, you name it.
    Good luck!
Oooh I LOVE St. B's. No room though.

Had one in the neighborhood as a kid that liked to "play baseball" with us. This was pre-leash laws. Darn thing would catch the ball every single time we hit it and we'd have to draw straws for the duty of sticking our hand in the St. B's mouth to retrieve what was left of the slimy ball. What a great dog he was though.

Oooh, thanks for the heads up- I can't wait to see it! nm

Oooh, that sounds yummy! Thanks for the recipe!

Oooh, I just LOVE what's for dinner posts. sm

Funny thing is, I just put chili together for tomorrow. Dumped it in the crock pot. put the crock in the fridge and will do a slow cook thing tomorrow. Yummy.  Must be cold and rainy where you live too.  All I could thing of was chili, baked beans or a big pot of hot soup. :)

Tonight we had baked pork chops and oven baked red potato chunks. Very, very yummy and very, very easy.  Here's what you do:

Dice up potatoes (with skins on) and layer them in a 13 x 9 baking dish. Add 1/3 cup cooking oil and 1 package of Lipton (or store brand) dry onion soup mix and stir it up. Then mix the other package of onion soup mix with bread crumbs, rinse off the pork chops, and roll them in the mix and throw them in a baking dish as well.  Put both in the oven at 350 degrees.  Potatoes usually take 35 minutes. Pork chops depend on the thickness. WICKED GOOD!

    Oooh, cajun turkey. My favorite!
    :D

I loved those 3% raises every year. Oooh, a whole 'nother quarter per hour.
Cost of living went up faster than wages.  Then they'd wonder why turnover was so high as everyone left for greener pastures.
