I have both Express Scribe and Sony and use two computers, both use Word 2003. One of them does what yours does, one doesn't, and they are supposed to be the "same computer" and the "same players"- what I did to help this was I have to unload my Expander (the expander and the players on one computer did not like each other). I load on the player first, then the expander. I use InstantText. It still has a few "glitches", but is better now. Whenever I have a problem I use Control-Z to undo whatever it has done, and then just go with it always use print preview to check for bolds or whatever. I hear InstantText now has an upgrade thing or something that is supposed to address this. I plan on checking it out myself. Good luck. Keep us posted about any solution that worked for you.
