parttime

I like them although I only work parttime, so no bennies, can't help you with that part of it.

tech support is very responsive. sometimes I have a hard time figuring out who to direct my non-tech-related questions to. more than half the time I get an email back that says 'not my responsibility.'

they are good about paying when they say they are going to, which is 4 working days after the end of the pay period (twice a month).

firm requirement of 135 lph and they are threatening to let people go who don't meet the requirement after 2 pay periods.

the best news for me was no ASR, and they say they don't outsource overseas.

I've been happy with them so far. Compared to MQ they are a million percent better!

as always, everyone's experience is different.

I have two parttime jobs as well.

Naturally, they both dump on me on the same days each week.  It's feast or famine around here.  I've been looking for another job, possibly even employee status instead of IC because I'm tired of this.  I can't make anybody happy and I'm tired of the huge fluctuations in workload and income.  I just don't know where to apply.  When I do apply somewhere, potential employers have these long interviews and tests.  I don't mind doing them, but then I get dumped on from both jobs.  It's like they know I'm looking elsewhere.  Maybe it's karma telling me to stick it out or not to take the new job.  I don't know.  LOL

thank you PAMT and parttime scopist..sm

Thank you both for answering my not dumb question!  Years ago, I transcribed depositions for a VA Hospital and you had to get every *ahem* or cough or whatever was being said, even in the background.....sounds very similar.  Before I went into the MT business in 1980, I really considered doing courtroom steno.

Thanks again!!!

Agree with Gina. Do parttime to
see what the company is like.  Learned the hardway, quit one job to go to *greener* pastures and was way sorry.  But still working at home and love it.  I personally would never go back in-house!  Good luck!
