pay

You are dealing with cherry-pickers. Those who have learned the system and know how to choose the jobs where they will get the most pay. I learned about this on my very first job - got documentation of who was doing it and asked that the situation be taken care of - well it was - and the cherry-pickers quit because they couldn't make any money when they did things the right way. You will find this is very, very true if you transcribe radiology - someone or a few will take all of the plain films and you will get stuck with all of the CTs, MRIs, PETs, etc. - with everyone getting paid the same per report no matter how long or short it is. I hope that you can get this resolved, but you will find this on every job you work unless work is specifically and fairly assigned to you and everyone else. It is a sad fact of MT life.
