In doing QA, I've found that there are more errors in the edited reports than in the transcribed ones. It almost requires a different skill set to edit versus typing, and it definitely requires a different part of the brain. I have to keep explaining to the higher-ups why a great old-school Transcriptionist isn't necessarily a great Editor and why there are MORE errors in a finished draft (MT's already gone through and corrected) versus a transcribed report.

Last week, EditScript popped up with:
"pseudomonal ass and necessary pneumonia"

(Looks alright to me!)
