I am the only wage earner as well. Luckily I have a good job again and have gotten pretty well caught up, so missing one paycheck wouldn't devastate me. Two would be pretty tough though.
I'm confident I could find another job, but I have learned that finding a good one these days isn't so easy, especifically if you are in a hurry.
my only savings is my 401k, which isn't very big just yet but hopefully by the time I retire...
