I work full time with benefits and am an IC part time. I increased my withhold at my full time job. I have never in 5 years paid estimated taxes. I have always paid my total taxes in April. I have always had my taxes done by an accountant and never been penalized by the IRS. They do not care when you pay, just as long as you pay.
