I work about 32 hours a week and would average the same money as you if working the same hours. I do very well I think, always have both as an employee and now as an IC. I work "normal hours" and take days off throughout the year. I think it all comes with experience. When I started doing transcription I worked 3 jobs, 7 days a week but have gradually cut back over the years. I consider myself very lucky.
