No, it's not right, but that doesn't mean they won't still try to "get away with it." If you really want to keep working for this company, RENEGOTIATE your arrangement to now include phone costs, including fax/internet/VOIP, etc.(Investigate the least expensive alternatives to get them to agree to reimburse you.) I pulled this from the internet; "Ensure that some of your employer's cost savings do not inadvertently become part of your expenses. For example, there could be hidden expenses such as increased electricity or heating costs, as well as more obvious expenses like the installation and rental of an additional phone line. All these issues should be discussed while negotiating the home-based work arrangement." Don't allow them to steal from your paycheck! Good luck....
