I don't know where you went to get your schooling in transcription, but I was taught that, verbatim or not, if he repeats a sentence, such as "It was a pleasure seeing * in clinic today." I would omit the second sentence that was the same. He may have forgotten he said it the first time and it was just an error. We are supposed to correct those types of things. It sounds like you may be just padding your line count, to me, and not doing what a good Transcriptionist is supposed to do. JMO.
