my husband told me, that he begged for a discharge halfway through soi training, and they basically laughed in his face and told him to forget it. all his buddies there were getting worried about him, they were glad he went ua, b/c that wasn't as bad as what he really wanted to do . he will most likely get a dd like you said and be home with me and our son in 6-8 wks
