I wanted to get on before I slept my 6 hours to head out for night shift. Thanks to all that responded. I would still like to hear more experiences.

I work for a service at home, can see where this is going ( along with another co-worker who by the way also works for a service) but the others I fear are totally clueless. I guess it upsets me because I have been there for 23 years, hubby looking forward to retiring and counting on me for the benefits. But guess what, don't think that will happen. He's holding off on retirement to see what happens with the in-house transcription. My supervisor is soon to retire and I know the boss doesn't want to have to deal with scheduling, payroll, etc. Besides, she's a coder at heart and probably could care less about the transcriptionists. That is sad to say, but I am afraid that is the truth.

Thanks again to all who responded.
