These are suggestions, the Do-Not-Use list(s), and all offices (MDs) should have a Do-Not-Use list in place, but many doctors are resistant to anyone telling them what to do. The plastics men (and gastromen) I work for privately will never say mL for cc regarding the size of breast implants. I presented this to them 3 years ago about HIPAA, they appreciated my presentation but are, as usual, doing things the way they want, and I give them EXACTLY what they want because they sign the checks; only thing is I refuse to put a patient's name in any body of any report, and they don't like that but it's my way on that one and they have accepted that. *l*
