go to Settings in the menu bar of the ES player, then to Playback Settings. Where it says "Clarity low frequency cutoff method" try the different settings in the drop down menu to see what sounds best. Sometimes the "tinny" sound is from the "Sharp 1500 Hz" setting. Other than that, I don't know any other way to adjust the playback.
