In Reply to: You have to watch the breeding pretty carefully. SM - Becky

yes, he is the most wonderful dog and yes he does live in side with me almost all the time. I did research on the internat and found out about separation anxiety.  Did what they said about putting on confinded space, etc,- he ate through my bathroom door!!!!  He likes pillows, comforters, etc.  He is a little confrontational but seems to be getting better.  I am trying to establish myself as dominant but it is kind of difficult.  He is the most loving dog that I have ever had.  May I correspond with you back and forth from time to time for advise.  Also, I take him for a run every day for about an hour in a sod farm across the road from me and he goes nuts. He loves all the smells and he wallows in everything he can find.  He is definitely the cleanest dog because then I have to bathe him and this happens at least 3 times a week.  Txs for your in put.  I am like you, he is becoming my favorite breed of dog.  I have always had labs, but I am hooked.
