Thank you for sticking to your guns. People used to tell me "you are so hard on those boys" and I would say "hey I am not raising a four year old I am raising a strong young man of God" My son is 13 and almost 6 feet tall, he better know that his dad and I mean business or I am in big trouble. My kids are a great joy to be around, we have lots of fun, we laugh, we work hard around the house together, we take ski vacations and golf vacations, go to the beach and we talk. My two sons are the most important two young people in my life and they know it because I tell them that. I love them way too much to see them fail. I know they are not perfect and they will make mistakes in life and so will I, but I believe if you expect greatness from your kids they will deliver, if you expect less that is what you will get. Kudos to you for expecting honesty and integrity out of your son, he will make a fine husband and father one day.
