my office was not a recent closure
but a few years ago. and it all went very smooth: a change of phone numbers and contacts...but the new office actually turned out to be better with communication and other things. My main account also transferred with me. MQ has the structure and management to do such things smoothly, even more so now than then.

No, i am not management.
When I wound up in the hospital...
On Thanksgiving Day, 1998, when we expected family and friends over for the day, wound up in the hospital with almost a white-out of my lungs due to my excessive smoking after going home to transcribe. I spent 2 weeks, given steroids, gained 20 pounds on that, but the worst of all was the Theophylline they put me on. I could not sleep for 2 days, sweating, my bed linen, bed clothing, etc. wet, so uncomfortable and swore if I could get off of this medicine, would never smoke again and never did. I hated the Theophylline more than I loved the smoking and I smoked a lot....like 2+ packs a day, quitting cold turkey. I looked like Puff the Magic Dragon with the steroids and hated that. Really bad experience.
I also did it for years, but I wound up sm
letting my CMT go and not renewing. It never did me a hill of beans worth of good but the satisfaction I got from the continuing education was great. Unfortunately, not much of that left anymore and the CMT really never did get me anywhere money wise but it was satisfaction for me. I came in at a time when lots of folks were "grandfathered" into the CMT but I got mine by taking the test back in the 80s! Glad I did it but I can't say I want to do it anymore and I wouldn't advise a newbie to do it either. Actually I think we should get continuing education CMT or not. I have always thought that MTs needed the CE but lots don't look at it that way. You just hang in there.
Absolutely not! We wound up with spyware and viruses because

none of them are that Internet savvy.  Oh, a popup that says it's going to protect my computer.  Let's click on it!  Oh, no!  A virus and spyware.

I'm not risking losing my files, compromising the security of my documents, or spending valuable time cleaning up their messes.  I bought myself a new computer so they get the old one now.

Wound care/hyperbaric sites?

I do a lot of wound care and hyperbaric therapy reports.  Does anyone know of good sites on the internet with word lists, dressings, etc that would be helpful for this?  I can't seem to locate a whole lot.  Thanks for any help.

Tami
