I hear you about the jealousy, negativity. We might be sisters! Only difference is, my mom has an absolute fit if I take a break or God help me, take a day off!! "Why aren't you working? Don't you need the money?" Drives me batty - I feel guilty for talking on the phone if she walks in (always unannounced, by the way) and if I'm in the kitchen eating you would think I was on a 2-week vacation.
