What do you mean by: If I highlight what can I do after that to do it faster?

do what faster?

Maybe this would help: one of the best tricks I picked up was assigning macros/ short cuts to F keys. For example if you click on tools, then customize then keyboard, you can "assign" the auto correct function to an F key.

So once you have clicked on keyboard, on the left choice chools TOOLS on the right side scroll down to the toolsautocorrect choice, then in the window below and to the left type in your F key that you want to assign this function to. It may say it's already assigned to something else. You have to decide if you want to override that if so, or choose another F key. Then, click "assign" on the right and OK or close. Next time you are typing, and want to add an autocorrect, all you have to do is type the F key and autocorrect opens up.

It sounds like a lot of steps, but its simple and a HUGE time saver. Because there are other functions you can assign to keys - besides auto correct.

I have assigned macros that search for something specific, and also 'undo' etc. Could not live without these shortcuts!

ALSO: with this tip you can assign the function that lets you mark copy (highlight) without using your mouse
