Go with Flow

That will definitely help.  I had an offer to start an at-home transcription position in August.  I guess I have to just go with the flow.

ebb and flow of work is something all MTs have to deal with
it can be a seasonal thing, like work comp claims increase over the summer and by August you are crazy, and then deductibles start again in January so it always slows down, and then February is a short month and people find it hard to schedule surgeries...so on and so forth. If you want a paycheck with the same pay every week, then you should find another field. I would recommend you take a part time job somewhere else, just for job security and for variety. I think MT is a tough job to do 40 hours per week, very hard on the back, fingers, neck and weight... Now that the work is slowing down, think of what would happen to you financially if the service lost the account to off shore.  Then act accordingly.
