I'm the opposite

I've actually never reread a whole file.  When I used to transcribe alot and well still do occasionally (on voice recognition accounts now), I had a trick I did.  I would listen type until I heard like a sentence and then lifted my foot the pedal while finishing the sentence.  I have a setting whereby whenever I lift my foot and put it back down it rewinds 2-3 seconds.  When I do that I quickly scan what I just typed.  Works real well for me.  Hang in there!

I have the opposite problem!
I have normals and templates set up for my primary acct, which has the shorter files. I thought I would be faster on the other one that is basically narrative with occasional headers - you know, no stopping to move down to the next header and such, but I'm not.  I only type 65 wpm so obviously straight typing speed is not my strength at all!
