inhouse somewhere locally. That's how many MTs start out because you can get your foot in the door as well as gain experience, and it's easier starting out to have other MTs right there with you who can help you. The demand for MTs seems to be falling too, so that's part of the problem with finding online companies to hire newbies. While our work is hemorrhaging overseas to India, Pakistan, etc., and our wages are falling rapidly, the MT schools are cranking out more MTs than ever. I think it's starting to get pretty competitive out there. Good luck in your job search, just keep trying, and as I said, if all else fails, don't forget to consider trying to find a job inhouse locally.
