I work for eScribeSolutions, Inc. out of Virginia Beach, VA. I couldn't be more pleased with them. I too had a hard time finding a job as a newbie, worked for a sleeze ball who subcontracted to me and refused to pay and then Mr. Mathews gave me a shot. try e-mailing mat@escribeinc.com with your resume. He may have positions for either Transcriptionist or proofer....it all works out to be the same $$ wise. It is a contractor job...so no benefits...but they pay every 2 weeks without fail via direct deposit, have awesome tech support. Good luck...I know what it is like...I was there!
