MT pay

it's very true about the variables  - overtime, dictators, macros, platform all come into play. Last year I made $57000 but this is with 50 to 60 hours a week (national, which I have worked for for 4 years). 12 years experience. My first year transcribing I made $20,000. Just my experience but I have made more with the national than as IC for small company, working the same number of hours.
