MBS (Millenium Business Solutions)/Medlytics

Can anyone please tell me, specifically,

what problem there is with MBS?  I was just notified by e-mail to fill out their job application and did so.  I have been trying in vain since 11/07 to find a job (new grad from LearnTranscription.com) and am getting desparate!!  There is a posting that they are terrible, but not really any specifics about them.  Anyone worked for them?

worried about outsourcing?
I've been looking into taking the Andrews course, which seems like the best, but then started reading the main forum messages.

There seem to be a lot of dissatisfied MTs who aren't getting enough work and complain that many companies are outsourcing work to India.

Does this worry anyone?
Anyone who is not happy with outsourcing...
...might want to consider Barack Obama for president:  He says he will ensure that US companies that outsource work to other countries will LOSE the tax breaks.

Something to consider anyway.

This could really be an important issue to all medical transcriptionists.

Future of Medical Transcription due to outsourcing

I am seriously considering Medical Transcription and now wonder if this is the right path to take. I guess there is no way to have absolute certainty, but would like to feel secure about investing time and money in learning the field. I would like to hear from some MT's who are fresh in the field and hear their thoughts. Thanks

Is MT a decent job based on pay #s I see here? And how is outsourcing affecting pay?

I am brand new to the MT world. I'm considering taking training and an internship at a local company (my cost = $2,000) and then working as a contractor for them. From reading different questions and responses here, I'm concerned that the pay is pretty low and has not increased much in the past few years. My other concern is that more companies are outsourcing their work overseas because it's cheaper. How much of that is happening and how much is that hurting pay here?

I'd appreciate any information and opinions. I have to decide by Monday, January 8. Now I'm thinking that I should just find another career path and take classes at a community college. I worked in another career and made excellent money, but the stress and long hours were just too much. I was looking for something less stressful and the chance to work at home. THANKS!!!

I think it means medical transcription service outsourcing, or something like that. ; )

I wouldn't work for a company that outsourcing offshore and then lies about it.
absolute definitive proof of this.  Be wary.
