you already have experience, you know how to research words, and your grammar skills are intact, I presume. You are not a newbie. It will all come back, believe me. I was out of radiology transcription for probably 10 years, but then picked up an account that had some rad in it, and it all came right back. For sure, don't spend any money on a refresher.

I was considering VLC's MT refresher course because I thought this was one of the top three schools along with M-Tech and Andrews.  Does anyone know if it actually is and have any comments about that school/program?  I would also really love to hear from someone who has taken the refresher course as I want to know if it is worth the money.

No, I did not go to one of the three best schools and did not know in advance that I should have gone to one of those three.  However, I did complete my MT training and am working for peanuts.  Now that I've got a year in, I've been trying to test for a better job.  I can't seem to pass the preemployment tests now.  I have been doing quite well with my low paying MT job (not an offshore company).  So, how can I be so bad on these tests? 

I've been thinking of taking VLC's refresher course.  Has anyone else taken this?  Would it be worth the money?  Isn't VLC the third best online school?  I'd really appreciate any suggestions here except that I should have went to the best schools in the first place because I already know that now and your are right.  Can VLC's refresher program help and will MT companies recognize it as worthy?

Does anyone know of a good MT refresher course to suggest?  I've taken a couple of preemploymehnt MT tests here lately and did not pass.  I feel I've lost my edge by working on a radiology account for a couple of years.  I would appreciate any and all ideas.  Thank you in advance.
