So being an MT is not profitable

Thanks for the response. But I have a question are you saying that it is not reasonable to believe that a career as an MT will be profitable? I cannot work outside the home right now my children are 14, 13, 10, 5, 3 and 1.  I really need a career that is going to allow me the flexiblity of staying home and earning money.  Most stay at home companies are a scam or pay peanuts. I decided I need to train in a field that is legit and can pay.  I am not sure if you are saying that because I cannot afford the one of the best schools I should not try to become and MT or because I have six kids I should not become and MT. The money from an MT career would be to supplement, not our sole source of income. Please advise.
