Thanks for all of the feedback it was really helpful.

For the quick to anger person who replied to my questions. I am considering this for a part time job,   who would type medical reports as a hobby?  And as far as working whenever you feel like it, it is very obvious that is not how it would work. I was just wondering why it was set as certain days and hours. I understand that the work has to be completed, no one gets paid for doing nothing. And as far as sitting around in pajamas, who are you to knock stay at home moms? When I have kids I fully plan to hang out in my pajamas sometimes. It never hurt anyone not to be so serious and quick to anger at everything please calm down for your own health and safety.

Once again thanks for all the feedback, it has given me some things to think about.

I wont quit my day job yet. I was thinking of part time work from home for extra money. There are also several community colleges in my state that offer medical transcription certificates, I think I am going to apply for one of those programs anyways. I have already taken several college courses, unfortunately none of them are on the certificate program for MT
