Thanks for your insight on the VR issue.
So when you work on those accounts, do you just edit and get paid a lower line rate? Do you feel that the work your doing will be plentiful for the next few years? Do you feel (after 14 years MT) that a new graduate can handle acute care and VR editing?
I really don't mean to bother you with questions, but I'm very nervous about diving into this work. Please understand how badly I want a chance at this career though. I'll be going through CS at EvCC and I'm also willing to do extra training if I need to supplement the program.
Yes, clinic docs not dictating really stinks for newbies. I thought that would be a great way to start an MT career, but I'm very willing to start out doing acute if I'll have what it takes when it's time to get a job.
What's your take on this? Thanks again for any insight! It really helps to have different points of view!
Thanks so much,
Christy
