...as you say, a positive person.  Some days I'm better at it than others.

I'm confident about my ability to learn and retain nearly anything, if I put my mind to it, however technical or exacting...  (I did, after all, just finish playing one of Shakespeares largest leading roles!)   And I know I can "put myself out there" and sell myself when need be.  I suppose my only fear is finding out that the job market has dried up so completely that even talent, skill and hutzpa aren't enough to get the newbie up and running...

Hi Phyllis,
A C-phone is a special telephone you use to dial into a system to retrieve dictations. You'll be given a phone number to dial, and an access code. Once you are logged in, it plays the dictations back one at a time. Headphones and a footpedal are attached to the C-phone. Different keys perform different playback functions.

I use my home phone line for the C-phone since I only work that account part-time, and I just set call forwarding to send callers to my cell phone while I'm on it.

Hope that helps!
Good Luck Phyllis
I happy you got the job. Good luck with it.
