I can't believe they'd request that much for being newbies, AND need training. I've been training, basically an unpaid internship, for over 3 months with a long-time medical Transcriptionist here in town. I'm also going to be attending my local community college in the fall to get my AS in Health Information Technology(learn coding, transcription, medical office, etc). My internship will be completed soon, I have terminology experience from a continuing ed course, and my internship instructor is going to have me work for her very part time on some of her accounts, but I would like to work full time at home for someone else/or a company so I can quit my 'day job'. I really enjoy doing transcription, I just need to get an 'in', LOL.
