laughing with me :)
Hi Christy, I do remember you from the cpl conversation.  Thank you for keeping your fingers crossed for me.  I sure hope she realizes that I'm not really that retarded.  I don't want to even try to explain myself to her for fear that it might make me look worse.  Maybe this isn't the first time she had someone freeze up on the written part.  That's always my luck though, as you say, the real worlds seeps out, but usually, in my case, I slam into it like a ton of bricks.
throw-laughing at myself
LOL, what a rare occasion to do that, LOL
You're probably right - I was laughing too hard to see straight.

Oh, for crying out loud...
I'm really sick and tired of reading this garbage about CS, started by a couple of grads (I wonder is that you above, haggis?) who got their noses in a snit wayyy back when, all because either CS didn't kowtow to their grandiose "suggestions" on how to improve their course, or they decided it was the best way to suck up to the people over at a certain message board (ironically, sponsored by the very two schools you are insisting on.) You can count the number of "dissatisfied" (and yet, curiously enough, still successful) grads on one hand. The rest are successful MTs who are happy with the education they received (and who knew enough to know what they didn't know, unlike the ones who gripe about CS...) I get the impression that these few believed they'd know it ALL when they graduated, which is a pretty stoopid assumption to make no matter WHAT school you graduate from.

CS is a great course for a reasonable price. No, you don't get ALL of the references you'll eventually need to work after the course, but that's simply not as big a deal as they make it out to be. Buy them later. I did, and got to write them off on my taxes, too. There is the infamous computer grader, true...but there ARE also HUMAN instructors, and they are terrific at answering your questions and making sure you understand your stuff. No matter how many times you ask.

As for the errors-yes, there were a few when I was taking the course a few years back, but even then, the course was not FULL of them (that's pure bull) and in no way does CS insist that finding them is part of your training! They are typos mainly-nothing of great importance, nothing that you shouldn't be able to realize for yourself, and certainly nothing that would teach you incorrectly! If that were the case, then not a one of CS's graduates would be as successful as we are.

Finally, might I add...if CS's course couldn't cut the mustard, would AAMT have given them its approval?

Look, I have nothing against Andrews and M-Tec. In no way am I putting them down. I'm sure they're terrific courses-they should be, considering the cost. But CS is a great alternative for those who cannot afford to go to either one.
It can really help to say it out loud in the doc's accent! Really! Some things just pop out at yo
