priorities

If I were you, I'd figure out what my priorities are -- pay, schedule, benefits, etc.  Of course, use reason and don't go with anyone who sounds way out of bounds (like a lot of complaints about not getting paid, etc.).  As a newbie your choices will be limited at best.

You will have to put up with things from any company that you don't want -- I think most of us still do as no company is all-around perfect for everyone.  You trade one thing for another.  For example, a lower line rate (if you can afford it) to gain the EXPERIENCE you need to get out of that company and get somewhere else where you get better pay because you have the experience and that first job already under your belt.  But please try to get the best line rate you can not only for yourself but also because the more people are willing to work for pennies, the more the services think they can keep lowering our pay and we will accept it, so your choice affects us all.

That being said, if you want this for your career for as long as it lasts, then I'd put experience at the top of my list if I could afford it and look for someplace that will let you grow in as many ways as possible.  I'd put benefits last because they are tied in with meeting minimum line requirements which will take you a while to do.

I worked for a company that was constantly bashed on here.  I learned much.  I stayed just to learn and went on to something much better because of the difficulty and problems of the former company--I gained experience I would not otherwise have had if I had been at a "perfect" company.  I figued out myself how to do things and I am glad I had to do it because now that knowledge is within ME and not dependent on a company to provide so I upgraded my skills because of their poor performance.

It's tough but for me, it was worth it.  Wish you the best of luck!
